Hey guys! Hope you had an awesome Spring Break! Can you believe there was snow on the ground this morning? Crazy weather! Well, it's a cool connection because our story this week is Mountains: Surviving on Mt. Everest. What are some things you would take with you on a hike in the mountains? Would you ever want to explore a mountain? Why or why not? I'm excited to hear your replies! (Don't forget to answer all the questions!)
We made it to Spring Break! Thanks for working soooo hard during 3rd Quarter! Take this week to relax and have fun! We will come back and be ready for those MAP tests in just...3 weeks! Go Varsity!
Learning can take place anywhere! Share something exciting you learned this week while you were OUT of school! Have a great week! See you soon! Love your teacher, Mrs. Jewls (I mean Mrs. Roughton) LOL! Our Journeys story this week is about 2 different animals that migrate. What do you think it would be like to be an animal that has to migrate to survive? Which animal from the story would you rather be? Why? I'm excited to hear your responses!!
PS-What is a dolphin's favorite TV show?.............................................................. WHALE of Fortune!! LOL! Hey kids! I am here in my first session at the eMINTS winter conference. We are looking at different classroom websites. We are going to continue blogging-like we have been all year-but now it will be straight from our class website! Hope you are having fun (and being good!!) while I'm gone! I miss you! I'm excited to bring new things back to use in our classroom!
